Favicon for Wix
Wix calls the favicon a Favicon in Site Settings → Website → Favicon. Upload a square image and Wix handles the rest — no code required on standard plans.
Wix recommends a square PNG at least 100×100 pixels; for crisp results upload 192×192 or larger and let Wix generate smaller variants.
Business sites that need PWA install icons should add a web app manifest and larger chrome icons via Velo/custom code — see our manifest guide for the full file set.

What format should I upload?+
PNG with transparency works best. ICO is not required — Wix serves PNG.

Save settings, republish the site, and clear browser cache. Staging previews may lag behind the live domain.
