Favicon for GoDaddy

GoDaddy Website Builder (Websites + Marketing) lets you set a site icon in the editor under Settings β†’ Website β†’ Favicon / Site Icon, depending on your plan version.

Separate your wide header logo from the square favicon β€” GoDaddy may crop rectangular logos poorly at tab size.

Upload PNG at least 180Γ—180 for home-screen and tab clarity. Transparent backgrounds work on most themes.

Connect your custom domain before testing β€” default godaddysites.com URLs cache separately from your branded domain.

After changes, use Publish in the builder, then verify on the live URL with a hard refresh.

If you migrated from another host, remove old favicon files at the previous CDN to avoid mixed signals.
